Sample @ Kristiansand ølfestival. Slightly unclear dark amber body with a big beige head. Nice, relatively light aroma of malt, dry fruit, berries and some acidity. Flavor is quite sweet malt, dark fruit, berries, hint of spruces and balanced sourness. Moderate in bitterness. Balanced body and pleasant aftertaste. Nice and easy drinkable, light acidic beer. Impressive in balance considering this much flavor at only 4,6 ABV. Very interesting.

On tap, at Kristiansand Ølfestival. An unclear, dark brown beer topped by a two-finger beige head. The aroma has a smooth sourish touch, with berries, chocolate, some nutty hints and spices. Faintly forest-ish. It’s smooth on the palate, with a solid body for the strength, and a nice carbonation. Some funky, sour flavors, with chocolate, berries and a spiced touch. Lasting finish. A wonderfully balanced sour beer that is as much on the spiced side as on the sour side. Both very subtle. 140823

Duft av kirsebær og andre frukter. Tilnærmet sort farge. Lite skum, ring langs kant. Syrlig smak av kriserbær som sitter.
