On tap @ Christianssand Brygghus. Almost clear golden body with a moderate sized, long lasting off-white head. Aroma is fruity like peaches and grapefruit but also quite a lot of caramel malt. Strong and defined flavor with balanced sweet malt, caramel, citric fruit, pine and quite bitter. The bitterness itself feels fresh and almost a bit like chewing hop pellets, not unpleasant but quite distinct. Fine and balanced body, long bitter aftertaste. A full-blooded IPA close to what I will call a double IPA.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours a hazy orange body under a dense off-white head leaving nice curtains. Itβs very hoppy on the nose, orange zest, pine cones and grapefruit, with some malts and a generic fruityness. Itβs quite bitter, but except for the late finish itβs not as bitter as expected judging from the aroma. Malty sweetness with a touch of caramel. Full body and a pleasant carbonation level. Lasting finish with lots of hoppy flavors. Sure nice, but not a beer to drink a lot of. Ok, Iβm a wimp... 140815
