On tap at Vertshuset Røros, the brewery tap, above the brewery. It pours a very dark brown body under a dense, finger thick dark beige head. Burnt and roasted aroma with dark chocolate, a touch of prunes and a faint orange note. It’s medium bodied, quite dry, and with a fine carbonation level. Roasted flavor with a little charcoal and burnt malts. Balancing bitterness. Lasting roasted finish with some bonfire notes. A really pleasant one, although it could use some more body. 140623
