Cask, at What’s Brewing. A brown, lightly unclear beer topped by a minimal sized dark beige head. The aroma has a distinct oxidation, lots of prunes, some whisky booze, caramel hints and a woody touch. It’s full-bodied, yet thin on the palate, with a low level of carbonation. Some alcohol warmth, and it’s quite dry. Dark dried fruits, prunes mostly, caramel, whisky and some wood in the flavor, lasting for quite some time. A good beer indeed, a bit warming, but sure good. 141101

Cask @ What’s Brewing 2014, Stavanger
Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, whisky, oxidization, wood and alcohol. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long warm, whisky and woody finish. Body is full, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is flat. This have been way to long in the barrel, almost no trace of God Jul left.
