Hytte 240715. THX to Bergstaden Dark golden colour with an off-white head. Aroma is wood, aquavit. Flavour is wood, aquavit, bread, caramel, fruit, malt. Could be more interesting with more alcohol.

[Courtesy of bergstaden] Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and hint of wood. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long malty, grassy, floral and hint of aquavit. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. Thanks to Bergstaden. A lightly hazy one, dark golden in color and with a dense, off-white head. It’s quite malty on the nose, caramel, some oaked hints, generic fruityness and some pine notes. It’s full bodied, semi-sweet and with a nice carbonation level. Caramel, fruityness and a hint of oak in the flavor. Lasting finish. Quite nice this one, would be even more interesting if it was a bit stronger. 150724

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry grainy, weeds, hay, wet grain, flowers, grass, vegetables, minerals. Taste is slightly dry and harsh, weeds, paper, minerals, flowers, grass, wet grain. Medium bitterness, harsh watery mouthfeel. Meh!
