Bottle purchased at Julio’s Liquors. Bottled on 4/20/15 on neck. Bright yellow with some lasting head retention. Aroma is lemongrass, and lemon peel.
The flavor has lasting lemongrass through the the center with lemon zest and lemon rind toward the back of sip. Has a lingering lemongrass bitterness. Some sweet malt of its over run by lemons. Did I mention this has some lemon? It’s not awful but not sure how they get away with labeling and calling this a saison. Overall a swallow level of flavor.

Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, yeast and pepper. Taste is light to medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly dry, pepper, yeasty and citrus finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap at Pour Judgement, Rhode Island. A mostly clear one, golden in color and with a minimal sized off-white head. The aroma is very citrusy, lemon peel, lime and some lemongrass. Saison-like yeasty, peppery notes too. It’s medium bodied, dry and soft on the palate, with lemon peel, lime, spiced hints and a resiny bitterness. Lasting citrus finish. Refreshing and quenching, with a nice citrus use. 150697

Pours a hazy yellow from the tap. Yeasty barnyardy aroma, light lemon flavor, nice saison-ish style, not quite a classic, but refreshing. Good beer.

12 ounce bottle from Downtown Wine & Gourmet, Harrisonburg, opened 8/16/14.. Pours a hazy yellow orange color with a thin fizzy white head that quickly fades. Aroma of pale dougy, buttery malt and a hint of citrus. The taste is grapefruit, lime, bready malts and abit of spice. Medium bodied, refreshing, highly carbonated. Decent beer.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours light golden with white head. Aroma is lemon and tons of it. Taste is lemon and more lemon. It is kind of refreshing, but it has the taste of dish soap, at least a little. Not my cup of tea, or beer rather.
