A luxurious vanilla stout aged for 36 months on heavenly bourbon barrels with added vanilla and single origin cocoa nibs from the Dominican Republic. Mmmm!
We took our beer, Very Vanilla, an outrageously huge imperial stout from our Mega-series. A beer packed with a complex combo of all the dark malts you love, giving a chocolaty, sweet, fruity, and slightly roasted aroma and taste. A beer with luxurious amounts of Madagascar vanilla, adding layers of sensations to this candy for grown-ups. Then, we let that beer age in freshly emptied Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. For 36 months!
After emptying the beer from the barrels, we added even more vanilla, and we let it sit on newly roasted and grounded Standout Chocolate Dominican Republic single-origin cocoa nibs. Oh, those lovely nibs!
The result? This is our most exclusive, elaborate, and excessive beer to date. Liquid chocolate for all your saucy needs. A beverage for all the senses, one delicate sip at a time. This truly is Lyx in every meaning of the word. Luxury!

Solid nice evening sipper
Complete black pour and more or less no head.
Thick oily engine oil
Pleasant intensity in the aroma.
Decent sweetness for a beer like this and a quite flat carbonation level.
Chocolate, dark malt, fruity, some oak. Thank god very mild bourbon and some vanilla in the flavor.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Viscous black, no head, Aroma of chocolate sauce with vanilla. Very sweet with viscous, syrupy mouthfeel. Chocolate sauce and vanilla ice cream. Bourbony boozy finish. Pretty vulgar bling-bling new money style concotion targetting kids, allowing the generic pastry ingredients to dominate completely. Still among the better pastry stouts.

Intense dark sweet malty with opulent smooth chocolate, big vanilla and bourbon washing in, dark dried fruit, touch of coffee roast, fudge n caramel, dense thick mouthfeel and body, more bourbon and vanilla coalesce into the sweet warming malty finish.
