Sampled at Gunnfryds Barmy Army New Year’s ticker party 2017. Clear, dark amber body with an OK tan head. Mild aroma of dark malt with a hint of coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, dark malt, moderate roasted with a hint of coffee. Medium body and a bit light in aftertaste. Decent, easy drinkable stout, but nothing extraordinary. .

Bottle. A dark brown to black beer with a reddish hue and a dense, light tan head of moderate size. The aroma is roasted and lightly burnt, with a touch of bonfire and dark chocolate. It’s medium bodied, quite dry and with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts, coffee grit, dark chocolate and burnt toast in the flavor, some bitterness too. Long roasted finish. Quite pleasant and easy drinkable this one, not bad for a store strength stout. 170107

On tap at the brewpub. Close to black in the glass, topped by a dense beige head of finger thick size. Roasted and burnt aroma with some dark dried fruits and a touch of mocha. A but thin on the palate, but smooth and dry, which I like. Roasted malts, some bonfire and with some dms hints and a decent bitterness, both of the roasted malt kind and the hoppy kind. Long finish. A bit unclean but sure decent this one. 151204

Nice tasty stout for the dark tides.
Black color with a fine thick creamy beige head. Chocolate, coffee and roasted aroma with an ok intensity. Although some strange notes. Medium body and a soft carbonation. Coffee, roasted and mild chocolate flavor.
