On tap at Apotekergaarden. A dark brown to black beer with a small, dense, light tan head. Licorice, roasted malts, some coffee and dark dried fruits, hints of tar and bonfire and some citrus zest. It’s full bodied, but not super heavy duty, it’s quite dry, yet with residual sweetness, smoothly carbonated and with a little warmth. Roasted malts, tar, licorice, coffee and since prunes and dates in the flavor. Decent bitterness too. Lasting roasted finish with tar and licorice. Quite pleasant this one, surprised it could work after Dark Horizon 5th Edition. 170106

Apotekergaarden 201216. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is mocha, vanilla, roasted malt. Flavor is mocha, vanilla, coffee, roasted malt. Easy drinkable very nice beer.
