Patricks 051116. Amber color with a beige head. aroma roasted malt, hay, hop, pine, grapefruit. Flavor is roasted malt, hay, hop, pine, grapefruit, caramel, dried fruit, grass. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Tap @ Patricks. Unclear amber body with a nice, lacing, dense off-white head. Medium aroma of caramel malt and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, dry fruit and medium bitterness. Medium body and sweet malty aftertaste. OK, pretty straight forward, quite sweet. One glass is enough.

On tap at Patrick’s. An almost unclear brown beer with a dense, beige head leaving lovely lacing. Malty, bready aroma with dried fruits and a nice touch of pine cones in the back. Malt dominated flavor with bread and caramel. There’s a fine bitterness too, pine cone notes and some grass. Medium to full body and a nice carbonation, quite dry. Long quite bitter finish, still on the malty side. A nice one indeed, although not so very Christmas-y. 161026
