Big offwhite head. Clear brown body. Grainy earthy toast aroma with sawdust and funk notes. Dryish earthy funky caramel taste with freshly cut wood and old cheese notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dry earthy rye crisp bread aftertaste with caramelly old cheese notes. If they could control the funk this would be a great beer, very close to some lovely, vivid flavours. Golden with a white head - Malt and hints of hops in the aroma - Malt body with some herbal hops that gives some bitterness in the back - The malt and hops with some bitterness goes into the finish - This was quite ok

Bottle. A very unclear golden colored beer with a dense, finger-thick off-white head. Rather fruity aroma with some pine cones and bready malts. It’s medium bodied and rather dry on the palate, with a nice bitterness. Fruityness, pale malts and some grass and pine cones in the flavor. Lasting bitter, fruity finish. Well, sure unbalanced, but it’s quite decent too. 160806

Pours hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, grain, hint of citrus, orange and floral. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a grainy, caramel and orange finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Flaske fra Gulating Vestkanten, delt med Børge: kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. God humlearoma med mango, citrus og litt urter. Smaken er like god, fint karbonert, så selv om den mistet litt piffen helt mot slutten sto den seg fint til kyllingsalaten. Av sted til Koengen og Paul McCartney!
