On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. An unclear, brown beer topped by a small, dense, beige head. Roasted malts and a faint touch of berries in the aroma. Some dark toffee and a vague touch of dried fruits too. Roasted malts, a touch of berries and berry acidity, a subtle and suiting bitterness, some toffee and prunes in the flavor. It’s dry and medium bodied, with a lasting finish. A quite unusual one, but also lovely. 151017

Almost complete black color with a big frothy beige head. On big lacing down the glass. Looks really nice. Moderate intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Semi dry texture. Also a little bit acidity that made it quite fresh and easy to drink. Roasted barley, chocolate and coffee in the flavor.

On tap @ Både &. Dark brown, almost black body with a nice, dense beige head. Strong and pleasant aroma of dark malt, bread, biscuit and red berries, slightly acidic. Flavor has a nice, pleasant sweetness from a combination of dark malt and dry fruit, some bread, moderate roasted, red, slightly acidic berries and fine balanced bitterness. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. So nice, so nice, has definitively has benefit of some storage this one.

29.10.2015, tap @ UNA:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly dry, hay, dried grain, nougat, toast, weeds, paper, sour grass, minerals, sour coffee. Taste is sour-ish roasted, weeds, sour coffee, roasted grain, grass, minerals, toast, hay, nougat, paper, ashes. Medium bitterness, sour-ish mouthfeel. Just weird.
