7.2/10 Appearance 8 Aroma 7 Flavor 7 Texture 8 Overall 7
On tap at Kristiansand Ølfestival. It’s a lightly foggy golden colored beer with a dense off-white head. Belgian style fruityness, with some spiced, yeasty hints and quite a lot of peaches. Some pine cones. It’s medium to full bodied with a nice carbonation level. Semi-dry, with flavors of peaches and pine cones up front and some pale malts and a yeast touch in the back. Lasting finish. Sure a nice blend of beers, refreshing and tasteful. Pity there isn’t more of this. 150822

Draught @ Kristiansand Ølfestival 2015
Pours slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, citrus, orange and hint of yeast. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with a long citrus and orange fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Sampled from tap @ Kristiansand ølfestival 2015. No ratings on this, where’s the Kristiansand tickers?? Have to admit I didn’t make any proper notes, just a few key words I have to compile into a rating. Unclear orange with a decent off-white head. Aroma is both malty and fruity, tropical fruit, grapefruit also a bit spicy. Flavor has a nice, well balanced malt base, hint of caramel, citric and tropical fruit (mostly tropical), some grapefruit sourness, spices, spicy yeast and balanced bitterness. Fine balanced body and good, long lasting aftertaste. I don’t really get the Belgium part here, might be the yeast and bitterness level? All in all a refreshing and very tasty beer with a perfect balance between malt, fruit and bitterness.
