On tap at Haandverkeren. A clear copper colored beer with a small light beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is of the malty kind, bready, with caramel and some dried fruits. Grassy hops in the back. It’s dry and full bodied with a nice carbonation level. Bread, light toffee and a nice bitterness oh the flavor, pine cone hints and some grass too. Bread, toffee and dried fruits blend nicely with some hoppy flavors in the end. A well brewed beer indeed, but not the kind of beer I prefer for a drinking session. Did one anyway. 151031

Draught @ Haandverkeren, Kristiansand
Pours slightly hazy golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, bread, biscuit, floral and grass. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long slightly malty, bread and biscuit finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

On tap @ Håndverkeren. Practically clear amber with a small, but kind of dense off-white head. Aroma is mostly malt, some toast and hint of dry fruit. Flavor has a nice rather sweet malt base, light toast or maybe more like biscuit, discrete mature fruit and moderate but pleasant bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. True to style English bitter, not the most exotic beer style but a decent version and probably a perfect match to the burger. Quite refreshing actually.
