On tap at the brewpub. It pours a clear copper body and a small, dense, beige head. The aroma has roasted malts, nuts, some bread and a hoppy touch, almost piney. It’s medium to full bodied with a nice carbonation level. Roasted malts dominates the flavor, with nuts, some prunes and bread and a nice bitterness in the flavor, lasting for a good while. Sure a pleasant one, drinkable too. 160116

From tap. Pours dark brown, clear, with a deep amber glare and a small off white head. Aroma is roasted malt, yeasty slight fruity. Bitter, toasted and mild berry fruity yeast. Quite distinct on the yeast notes. Toasted dry malty finish.
