Imperial Gold is a premium lager with a rich and full-bodied taste. The valuable malt used in the beer, which comes from Scotland, gives it a deep golden colour and thick head. The taste and appearance of Imperial Gold are as worthy of the attention of crowned heads today as they ever were.

Bottled 400ml. -from Interspar Brežice. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, mild malty nose. Sweet malty, light hoppy and slight metallic with hint of caramel and faint fruitiness in the finish. Nice looking bottle but please do something with the quality of beer instead of throwing money on image.

Bottle, 0.40l. Clear deep golden color with rocky white head, excellent lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma is reach malty, caramelly, grassy, herbal and a bit dusty. Taste starts with moderate sweet grainy malt, lightly toasted and bready. Following is mild grassy sour and somewhat fruity, while finish is light bitter. Medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. Surprisingly tasty lager...

Bottle. Pours clear golden yellow with medium white head. Aroma is malty, grass, flowers, corn and faint hints of incense. Taste is light sweet, medium bitter, light umami and light acidic. Body is milky with lively carbonation. Finish is long and dry with notes of malt, grass, grain, flowers, meadow, hay, straw and faint hints of ground coffee and dark chocolate. Fairly complex for a pilsner and well balanced.

Pours a clean golden color, topped with a very generous white frothy head. Solid retention. Lots of bubbles in there. A mild malty aroma, some dust, grains and a bit more grass. A bit unpleasant cardboard smell too. The taste starts slightly sweet. Balance in the body and little bitterness in the finish. Not the best one, but still good.

Bottle. Pours clear golden with airy whit head leaving lace patterns on the glass. Clear aroma of hops and yeast, with malty notes. Bitter, hoppy aroma, enhanced by some kind of spice. Bitter, slightly metallic aftertaste. Drinkable but nothing special. Still, a reasonable Pale Lager.

400 ml. bottle. Clear, golden colour with a big, bubbly white head. Sweet aroma with grass, pale malts, earthy hops and grains. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and a lively carbonation. Finishes dry and light bitter with grasses and a vague fruitiness. Good for an industrial Pale Lager.
