Tap @ Patricks, Kristiansand. Pitch black body with a fine, dense, lacing beige head. Aroma has roasted dark malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, dark roasted malt, coffee and a bit slightly sour, harsh bitterness (coffee bitter?). Nice body and long lasting smooth malty aftertaste with a bit harsh bitterness. Nice one, but I don’t think the coffee brings much to this beer.

Patricks 180718. Dark brown color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, , coffee. Flavor is roasted malt, lactose, coffee, alcohol, fruit, pine, grapefruit, chocolate. Nice beer.

On tap at Patrick's. It's a close to black one, with a creamy two finger head leaving cute lacing. The aroma is roasted, lightly burnt and quite coffee-ish, with hints of dark chocolate. Bonfire notes. It's full bodied, yet a bit watery, with a very soft carbonation. Semi-dry, with flavors of coffee, burnt malts and bonfire, some dark bitter chocolate and some raisins. Lasting roasted finish with coffee and some burnt down bonfire. Nice. 180718

Black with brown head - Dark malt and coffee in the aroma - Dark malt body with some fruity hints, chocolate and a nice coffee flavour with bitterness - The dark malts and coffee flavours goes into the finish - This was nice

Complete black color with a fine beige head. Ok lacing. Fine intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a soft carbonation level. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry ending. Ok lasting flavor. Coffee, some roast and dark malt in the flavor.
