Bottle 500ml @ gunnfryd
Pours hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, lots of yeast, pear and faint hint of orange. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long yeasty and grassy finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear, dark golden colored beer with a firm, dense, finger-thick light beige head. Piney, grassy and lighlty resiny aroma with a light bready touch. Some yeast in the aroma, with a bready back and grassy, resiny hops up front. It's medium bodied and smooth on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Fruity, citrusy flavor with a bready backdrop and a fruity, citrusy finish. Wouldn't mind more bitterness all the way. A rather subtle beer, lacking the hop punch I'd expect judging from name. 170831

Bottle from Gulating Brennåsen. Unclear dark golden body with a fine, tan head. Moderate aroma of malt, general fruitiness, some grass and yeast. Flavor is malty with some biscuit, general fruit, hint of orange zest and moderate bitterness. Medium body, actually balanced and some more obvious bitterness in aftertaste. Totally decent brew within the more general ale genre. Nothing wrong and nothing special.
