On tap at the brewpub. A hazy dark golden colored beer with a finger thick off-white head leaving curtains. There’s a faint diacetyl-like touch to the aroma, but I suspect the hops are playing tricks with my mind. Some caramel, with pine cones and orange, hints of pale malts. The flavor has a soft bitterness, with pine cones, light bitter orange, caramel and some pale malts. Rather effervescent, full bodied and smooth, with a lasting hop dominated finish. A bit too much on the caramel side I think, and to heavy on the carbonation, but it’s a decent, easy drinkable beer anyway. 170216

On tap @ the brewpub. Clear dark golden body with one finger thick, lacing off-white head. Quite strong in aroma with peach, ripe citric fruit and malt. Flavor is fruity as well, citric, peach, apricot, oranges and smooth sweet malt. Fine body and nice aftertaste with a little hint of warming alcohol. A really nice and smooth IPA with a good maltbase, not the most bitter version from this series but maybe the smoothest and definitively very tasty and nice.
