Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, dried fruits and alcohol. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, dried fruity and caramel finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

On tap at the brewpub. It's a dark brown brown beer with a small beige head. Caramel, some bread and a touch of dried fruits in the aroma. Some generic fruitiness. It's full bodied, lightly warming and smooth, with flavors of caramel, bread and dark dried fruits. Decent bitterness. Long finish. A quite pleasant one indeed. 191122

On the Brewpub 161119. Dark brown color with a beige head. Aroma is raisin, alcohol, malt. Flavor is raisin, alcohol, prunes, malt, chocolate, wood, dried fruits. Nice beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Dark amber, close to black body with a nice, lacing, medium sized, dense beige head. Strong aroma of dark malt, some chocolate, wood, fry fruit and red wine alcoholic. Flavor is smooth and sweet malty, hint of chocolate, distinct dry fruit, dry wood/oak, balanced bitter and warming alcohol with notes of red wine. Fine balanced flavors, balanced body and long lasting pleasant aftertaste. Quite bold, but still it feels easy drinkable. Not super complex really, just well made and nice.
