Tap @ the brewpub as Bayer. Looking smashing nice with a clear reddish body under a nice pale, lacing beige head. Aroma has malt, bread, biscuit and fruity yeast. Taste has sweet malt, some caramel, bread but also a bit sour with hint of vegetables. Medium body and average aftertaste. Some promising elements here, still a bit naked and difficult style to make, the slightly sour and not pleasure elements becomes easily prominent. Does not feel right for the style. Earlier Rating: 11/20/2019 Total Score: 3.3 Tap at the brewpub as Juleøl. Unclear deep brown body with a small off-white head. Aroma has caramel malt, bread, nuts and yeast. Flavor is kind of sweet and almost sour at the same time, the kind of sourness to get from some kind of malt – no fruity sourness. It has also brown sugar and some fruity yeast. Medium body and average aftertaste. Quite OK, but it feels like something is missing or at least not in balance, might need some more storing time, feels a bit rough and unfinished.

On tap at the brewpub. It's an unclear amber to brown colored beer with a small offwhite head. Roasted malts, bread, caramel hints and some dark chocolate in aroma. It's medium bodied, smooth and softly carbonated, with flavors of caramel, roasted malt notes, bread and some chocolate. Long finish. Rather boring. 191122
