On tap at Haandgemeng. It pours a pale golden body and no head to speak of. Clear. The aroma has a foundation of honey with funky, barnyard touch, some alcohol and a herbal scent. Forest and heather too, but less in the aroma than in the flavor. It's oily, warming and full-bodied, with a honey-sweetness in the flavor. Funky, forest-ish and herbal, with a good dash of heather. Dry in the finish. Wasn't expecting the funky touch in this one, but it works very well. 171027

On tap @ Bergen Craft Beer Fest. Pours hazy orange, with no head. Aroma is earthy, fruity notes of musty, fruit peel, as well as honey, floral notes and honey. Full body, with no carbonation. Flavour is tart fruity notes of stone fruit pits, musty fruit peel and red berries, as well as earthy heather.

Clear shining golden color with a ehhhh no head. Solid aroma. Unusual fresh mead! Full body and soft to flat carbonation level. Pleasant balanced sweetness and a mild nice acidity in the back. Honey, yeast, floral and citric flavor. Damned good!

No head, slightly cloudy. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish, honey, hay, citrus, yeast, minerals, flowers, grass, alcohol. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish grassy, honey, citrus, hay, minerals, alcohol, yeast, flowers, heather, sorrel, hints of mild vinegar. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish mouthfeel. Nice, slightly better than last time.
