Bottle from Gulating. Close to pitch black body with a nice, dense, lacing tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate and hint of green pepper. Flavor is smooth and soft dark, mild roasted malt, medium sweet dark chocolate, bitter coffee, slightly piny and really not much chili to be found here. Decent body for the low alcohol and smooth aftertaste. I fine Irish stout, even without any chili burn as promised from the label.

Bottle. An unclear brown beer with a small, dense beige head. The aroma is heavily roasted, lightly burnt, with bonfire notes and some dark chocolate. It's dry and nicely carbonated, medium bodied, with a touch of piney hops. The flavor is mostly roasted and burnt though, with dark chocolate, some burnt down bonfire and a vague smoke hint. A touch of chili burn kicks in towards the very end. A dark one indeed, quite tasteful and pleasant. 190518

Black metal body with a long thick beige hair. Looks like it is bat out of hell. The hair or the top of the beer if you like. Ends a bit to fast up as a thin layer. Quite fine aroma with an ok intensity. Mostly chocolate. Soft carbonation level and an ok balanced sweetness. Chocolate, dark malt mild roast and some lingering chili. A really fine stout at 4,7%. Easy drinkable and tasty. [Bottle from Mr Mork himself]
