Tap @ Cristianssand Brygghus. (I did not noticed the alcohol content, but assume itβs something around 7% - hope the local admin correct this as he drank the same beer together with me.) Unclear, but not hazy golden body with a small, lacing white head. Strong and nice citric fruity aroma, mostly peach but also leaving room for some pale malt here. Flavor is nice and refreshing as well mostly with citric fruit and a good fruity bitterness. Fine balanced body and long lasting fruity and bitter aftertaste. As the Yeastcost #2 where classified as a New England IPA this is clearly on the more traditionally IPA side, still a modern version with moderate malt flavor and mostly pale malt, but the bitterness and hop flavor (not just another hoppy nose) makes this slightly more complex and less one-dimensional. Nice, tasty and very refreshing.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours an unclear dark orange colored body under a small off-white head leaving lacing. The aroma has some weird sweaty notes and catpee at first, followed by a pleasant orangey and lightly piney hoppyness. Not much malts detected, neither in the aroma nor in the flavor. It's full to medium bodied, quite dry, and a bit low on carbonation, with a pleasant bitterness level. Orangey, piney hops with some catpee in the mouth. Long hop driven finish. A nice beer for sure, but in a strange way, and all the way too gentle on the hops I think. 181115
