Tap @ Brygghuset. Black body with a moderate sized, lacing beige head. Aroma has dark, roasted malt and quite much dark roasted coffee. Flavor is smooth, dark malt, roasted coffee, mocha, fruit and balancing bitterness. Fine body and long lasting pleasant aftertaste. Its very tasty and well made, almost a bit easy to underestimate as nothing really stands out in any particular direction, perhaps with the exception of the coffee, but otherwise this is just a very balanced and well made stout without any buzz and fuzz. Perhaps extra Nice for the coffee lovers?

On tap at the brewpub. Dark brown to black in the glass. A thin, firm tan head sits on top. Cute lacing. The aroma is a bit too fresh, close to vegetal, with roasted malts, freshly ground coffee beans, dark rye bread, hints of licorice and a touch of prunes. It's silky smooth on the palate, with a medium to full body and a very light bitterness. Roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate notes, some vegetal hints, prunes and rye bread in the flavour. A light lemony hint blending in. Long finish dominated by rye bread and roasted malts. Quite British in style, quenching, sort of, and decently tasteful. 190310
