Håndvekølfestivalen 2019. Red -orange color with a pinkish head. Aroma is cherries, fruit. Flavor is cherries, fruit, malt, grass. Nice beer.

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy reddish orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, fruit stones, sour red berries, grass, berry skin, minerals, fruit salt, sour cherries, oak. Taste is dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, sour red berries, oak, fruit stones, grass, fruit salt, mild vinegar, alcohol, sour cherries, minerals. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Nice.

On tap at the brewpub, Kråka. It pours an unclear candy red body under a finger-thick pink head. Cherry, cherry pits and almond, some vinegar and grass in the aroma. Far from super complex, but quite pleasant. It’s dry and tart on the palate, with a nice carbonation level. Medium body. There’s a light sweetness in the flavor, with cherry and cherry pits doing most of the work. The vinegar and grass is more in the background than they were in the aroma. Long finish. A bit rough on the fruity sourness this one, and it feels a bit fresh, but it’s sure a decent first attempt. 190222
