Bottle. It pours a clear dark amber color, with a finger thick off-white head. The flavor of driven by bread and caramel, with toffee, hay and a generic fruityness. Hints of pine cones. The flavor is a bit more fruity, still with a solid backdrop of bread, caramel and toffee. It's medium bodied, not really neither dry not sweet, and with a soft carbonation. Sort of sticky, toffee-ish finish. A clean, decent beer, but I prefer my pale ales on the hoppy side. 190224

Bottle. Has a hazy orange brown colour with a beige head. Pretty hoppy aroma of pine, grapefruit, grass and some sulfur. The flavour is also very hoppy with pine, grass and grapefruit. Has a slick mouth feel, light to medium body and medium bitterness. Hoppy and okay.

Big lasting offwhite head. Hazy brown body with lots of large floaties. Resiny tropical fruit and flowers aroma with metal notes. Dry gooseberry and resin taste with toffee and mint notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, mealy mouthfeel. Dry resiny floral fruity aftertaste with mealy notes. Lingering bitter mealy finish. It's OK, and extra points for the reduced alcohol, but a little thin and harsh. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Triaden Lørenskog.)

Bottle 140417. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hop, pine. Flavor is fruit, malt, hop, pine , citrus, herbs, grain. Medium body. Ordinary beer.

Flaske fra Gulating Stavanger, hjemme: gylden med flott skum som holder følge helt ned. Fin floral aroma og smak med citrus (særlig mandariner). Slank maltkropp, og den behagelige bitterheten i ettersmaken gjør at glasset tømmes lett til tonene av Leonard Cohens nyeste.

Taste is dry mineraly, weeds, minerals, old hay, medicine, old cellar, dried grain, sweaty cheese, bark, sour grass, paper. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh metallic mouthfeel, fizzy / foamy mouthfeel. Drainpour!
