On tap at the brewpub. It pours a clear golden colored body and close to no bubbles. Sort of oily. The aroma has a pleasant addition from the barrels, vinous, berryish scents, with a touch of saison fruityness and some pale malts and bread. It's soft on the palate, medium bodied and semi dry, with flavors of generic fruityness and bread mixing with the red wine and barrel influence. Tannin rich finish. The saison part is subdued here, but the barrels have added an extra dimension that makes it interesting. 190222
