On tap at Ølfestivalen, Nærbø. It pours an unclear orange body under a small off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma has lemon juice and pine cones, else it's quite weak. Some berry-like scents and a touch of chili. It's acidic and full-bodied on the palate, a bit weak carbonation, and a dry, lighlty chili-burning touch. Lasting lemony finish. Quite nice this one, but a bit too acidic I think. Perhaps I'm just fooled by the chili. 171021

33cl can from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours hazy dark orange (like blood oranges) with practically no foam. Aroma is of blood oranges and red berries. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter and without good sour feeling. Finish is short but with a nice hot feeling coming from chili peppers.

Ølfestivalen Nærbø 2017. Red amber color with no head. Aroma is sourness, chili, raspberries. Flavor is sourness, chili, raspberries, red berries, grass. Nice beer.

Small slightly bubbly-creamy shortlasting head, nice hazy light reddish color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, grass, raspberry, minerals, hay, old wash cloth, paper, weeds. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, soda powder, grass, sour raspberries, hay, minerals, grassy chili, fruit stones, weeds, paper, berry skin. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh grassy mouthfeel with a light chili burn. Fair enough.
