Bottle. It's a hazy orange to light amber colored beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is lightly malty, bread and caramel notes, with pine, grassy and citrus zesty hops that feel a bit old. Or perhaps it's just lacking the fresh feeling most IPA's these days tend to leave. It's a bit heavy on the carbonation, but not in a bothersome way, medium to full-bodied and semi-dry. Quite bitter, at least more bitter than I'd expect for a store strength IPA brewed for two small-town restaurants. Bread and caramel in the back, some candy hints too, and citrus zest and pine cones up front. Some grapefruit kicking in towards the finish. An easy drinkable and sort of throwback-ish session IPA that I liked a bit. Would of course be more interesting fresh and at a higher ABV. 181105

Superficial festival rating at Duggfrisk 2017. Slightly unclear dark golden with a two fingers dense off-white head. Nice citric, peach and orange aroma with a mild malt base. Refreshing fruity flavor, oranges, some sweet pale malt, good bitterness for a session IPA. Medium body and relatively bitter aftertaste. Decent session ale.
