On tap, at Nærbø Ølfestival 2017. It pours an unclear brown body under a minimal sized tan head. Ther aroma is very dessert like, with a good Bourbon twist. Caramel, roasted malts, dark chocolate, dark sugar, coffee, some bread and a good dash of alcohol. It’s full-bodied, warming and softly carbonated, borderline too low carbonation level, and on the sweet side. Some bitterness trying to, but failing to, bring some balance. Caramel, dark chocolate, dark sugar, roasted malts and alcohol in the flavor, and of course bourbon. Everlasting finish. This one’s too much on the warming side but it’s sure delicious as well. 171021

Ølfestivalen Nærbø 2017. Black color with no head. Aroma is bourbon, roasted malt, licorice. Flavor is bourbon, vanilla, licorice, oak, coffee, chocolate, roasted malt. Full body. Very nice beer.

On tap @ What's Brewing 17. Pours pitch black, with no head. Aroma is dark chocolate and coffee, as well as muscovado, tobacco and wooden barrels. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is fruity malts with prunes and dark fruits, as well as vanilla, muscovado and wooden barrels.
