EG 280521. Golden color no head. Aroma is honey, elderflower. Flavor is honey, elderflower, herbs, berries, cloudberries, alcohol, tangerine. Nice mead.

Bottle. A nice looking slim 375ml one. It's looking delicious in the glass, with a deep golden colored, almost amber, with no head. Rather oily pour. The aroma is dominated by honey, in a matured, cellarish way, and is joined by elderflower, orange and a generic fruityness. Some notes of raspberry too. It's full-bodied, warming and sort of oily, with a herbal bitterness. Honey, herbs, elderflower, lemon hints, alcohol and some spiced hints. Not much orange or mandarine detected. Lasting finish with a tad too much alcohol warmth. Nice though. 210603

Bottle. Beautiful, clear golden body without any head and a slightly oily consistence. Strange and fascinating aroma, a bit like cloudberry, herbal, honey and hint of citric fruit. Taste is sweet, mature citric syrup, acidic berries, herbs/tea, honey and well-integrated alcohol. Full bodied and rather long lasting, herbal, warming alcoholic, sweet honey aftertaste. This was fun to taste, perhaps more interesting than really god but definitely something totally different from other meads I have tasted.
