Well stored bottle. Unclear amber body under a big, creamy tan head. Aroma has malt, caramel, dry fruit and warming alcohol. Taste is smooth malt, caramel, dry fruit and pleasant alcohol with a slightly sign of oxidation. Fine body and same aftertaste. Smooth, almost a bit neutral with signs of peaking.

Bottle. An unclear amber to brown beer with a beige head. The aroma is lightly boozy, but in a pleasant way. Cellar, caramel, some dark dried fruits, rye bread and some brown sugar in the aroma. It’s full-bodied, lightly warming and soft on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Caramel, toffee, rye bread, roasted malt notes and some oxidation in the flavor. Lasting finish. A pleasant one, a bit gentle, and I don’t think it would’ve survived eight more years in the cellar. 210205
