KYGGK 120920. Amber color with a beige head. Aroma is bread, roasted malt. Flavor is bread, kveik, yeast, roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, spices. Bitter finish. OK beer.

Can. A clear chestnut colored beer with a nice beige head. Roasted malts, chocolate, bread crust and a touch of cocoa in the flavor. It's medium bodied, semi-dry and nicely carbonated, with chocolate, coffe notes, roasted malts and a bready touch. Long finish with mostly brown malt flavors. A decent one, but rather dark for an amber. 200912

Pours hazy deep amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, funk and grain. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long grainy and funky finish. Body is medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

8-4-7-5-15 Can, #160, eight months before bbd. Pours dark brown, with a creamy brownish head. Aroma is dark malts with notes of chocolate, toffee, wood and notes of smoke, as well as dark fruits and minerals. Medium body with watery mouth feel, with soft carbonation. Flavour is dark fruity malts with tobacco, burned sugar and toffee, as well as juniper, earthy minerals and notes of smoke. Dry, earthy finish.
