Tap @ the brewpub. A brown body under a nice, lacing beige head. Aroma has malt, caramel, nuts and hunt of milk chocolate. Taste is sweet, slightly roasted, smooth malt, caramel and moderate bitterness. Fine body and long lasting, pleasant aftertaste. Not a very complex beer, but well made, balanced, tasty and easy drinkable. I find it a bit in-between a porter and a brown ale.

On tap at the brewpub. A dark brown beer with a small dark beige head. The aroma is lightly roasted, with caramel sauce and a touch of dark bread crust. It's smooth and medium bodied, softly carbonated, with flavors of roasted malts, caramel and bread. Long finish with caramel and roasted malts. Easy drinkable, but a bit dull. 200727
