Bottle from Gulating. Practically clear, blood red body with a small, short lasting pink head. Nice aroma of sour cherry and ripe cherry with a little hint of wood. Flavor, like aroma is dominated by cherry, real cherry, no artificial or juice whatsoever. Mild and pleasant acidity with a hint of wood, not so much barrel flavor to be find really but it seems perfect as it is with a complex mix of fresh acidic berries and sweet, ripe berries. Highly enjoyable and very impressive at only 3,75% ABV.

Bottle 500ml @ Espen & Ingrid
Pours hay red with a off-white head. Aroma is tart with notes of malt, fruity and tart cherry. Taste is light to medium sweet and light sour with a long slightly dry, light tart cherry fruity finish. Body is light to medium, texture is thin, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 375ml corked. A hazy candy-red beer with a finger-thick pink head. Some lacing. The aroma has loads of cherry, with almond and some lemon and grass hints. It's medium bodied, nicely carbonated and quite dry, some tartness too. As expected, the flavor too is mostly cherry, and combined with a hint of wood, almond and even some grass and marzipan it's a tasteful beer indeed. Some lemon chimes in towards the very end. Sure a beer worth repeating. 200622
