Old school resinous pine collided with a juicy tropical behemoth in Mosaic for an IPA that shouts to the rooftops and back.

On tap at Christianssand Brygghus. An unclear beer, orange in color, topped by a finger-thick off-white head leaving lacing. Pine cone and grapefruit driven aroma with pale malts in the back. Some notes of alcohol, which I find rather weird. It's full-bodied and soft on the palate, nicely carbonated, with a light bitterness. Piney and grapefruity flavor too, with a backdrop of pale malts. Mostly piney in the finish. A pleasant beer that could use a bit more punch. 190810
