Klar lys med boblende skum. Lukter eple, blomster og litt gjær. Smaker syrlig eple og noe sitronskall.

750 ml clear bottle, vintage 2022, as OMA Gravenstein Sider, from Vinmonopolet; nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Clear and very pale straw colour, pours vigorously sparkling with a large but shortlived white head. Distinct aroma of Gravenstein apples, a hint of sulphites. Medium dry flavour of Gravenstein, some fruity acidity.

Bottle, 75cl. A very lightly sparkling straw colored cider with a few white bubbles on top. The aroma has fresh apples, some overripe yellow apple and grass, apple cores, pear and a faint tropical fruityness. Alcohol too, but not too much. It's full-bodied, warming and lightly carbonated on the palate, quite dry, with just a touch of fruity sweetness left. Fresh apple, hints of pear, grass and apple cores, alcohol, some bark notes and a peachy touch in the flavor. The peach is stronger in the aftertaste than initially. Anyway, a nice cider indeed, with a decent complexity, but I think it would've benefited from a slightly lower alcohol percentage, even though the alcohol isn't annoying neither in aroma nor in flavor. 220516
