I min hemmelige julekalender finner jeg mange stilarter, flasker og bokser av ymse størrelser, nå en 0,5 flaske, levert av nissen i Lars Hertervigs gate og delt med Kitty første søndag i advent: nesten helt klar gylden med fint skum som varer. En liten fornemmelse av julens appelsiner sammen med noen krydderurter og jordaktige, lett florale toner. En frisk og meget lettdrikkelig pils med fin bitterhet i avslutningen.

YG 020322. Golden color with an off-white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, hay, citrus. Flavor is fruit, malt, hay, citrus, grass, pine. Ordinary beer.

Bottle. It's a lightly foggy one, golden in color and with a nice-looking finger-thick off-white head. Some lacing. The aroma is quite candy-ish, with grass, pine cones, hints of citrus zest and a vague hint of bakers yeast. It's medium bodied and quite dry, pleasantly carbonated, and with a decent bitterness. The flavor is less candy-ish than the aroma, with piney, grassy and citrusy hops up front, on a lightly doughy and too yeasty backdrop. More piney and citrusy in the finish. A bit too yeasty this one, else quite drcent. 220302
