On tap at the brewpub. It’s an unclear yellowish orange colored beer with a small, dense white head. The aroma is piney and grapefruity, with melon, grass and a hint of pale malts. It’s dry, medium bodied and quite bitter, with a low carbonation level. Piney, grapefruity flavor too, some pale malts act as a backdrop. Notes of flower and grass in the far back. Bitter, fruity finish. A quite tasteful and refreshing one. 210813

Brix Brygghus 130821. Golden-yellow color with a white head. Aroma is pine, grapefruit, tropical fruits. Flavor is pine, grapefruit, tropical fruits, citrus. Bitter finish.

Siste lørdag i oktober, og med et vær som kan lure deg til å tro at våren er kommet. Hva er da bedre enn en herlig sykkeltur langs Gandsfjorden for så å ende opp foran en velskjenket planke på Melkebaren? Grumsete skittengul (kan det ha vært mot slutten av fatet?) med utmerket skum som varer helt til jeg er ferdig med alle 5 ratingene. Tropiske frukter, mango og granskudd i aromaen, og noe ananas sniker seg også inn i den supermyke og meget fyldige smaken. Saftig avslutning som etter hvert blir i søteste laget.
