On tap at Nærbø Ølfestival. A minimal sized off-white head leaves some lacing over a hazy golden colored body. The aroma is a bit weak for the style, mostly citrusy fruity, with some pale malts in the back. There's alcohol too, but not much. It's full-bodied and very lightly warming, with a smooth carbonation and a decent bitterness. Grapefruit driven flavor with resins and some pale malts sweetness. Fruity finish. A quite straigth forward no-fuzz DIPA or light TIPA. Sort of easy drinkable too. 191005

Nice fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head, slightly cloudy light golden color. Aroma is slightly dry sour-ish grassy, flowers, old lawn, weeds, minerals, bark, rubber, dusty hops, sour grass, sap, light malts, leafs. Taste is dry sour-ish foresty, bark, weeds, sour grass, sap, minerals, cardboard, booze, harsh hops, fruit stones, pine needles, old lawn, sugar, dried fruits. Longlasting harsh bitterness, slightly sweet boozy mouthfeel. Not my cup of coffee.

Ølfestivalen Nærbø 2019. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, yeast. flavor is fruit, malt, hop, yeast, citrus, herbs, grapefruit, pine. Bitter finish. OK beer.

From tap at Brix Brygghus with RB/HD 25.10.19. Clear straw colour. Strong aroma and taste of bitter American hops, citrus, bitter marmalade, plum jam, succade and pale malt. Good!

Det nærmer seg slutten på en strålende dag på ølfestivalen på Nibbe, og jeg noterer flittig mine siste ratinger. Lett uklar korngylden med fint skum som varer. Superfrisk og fruktig med rikelige mengder tropiske frukter, grapefrukt og en del furunål i en solid maltkropp. Laaang, furunålspreget ettersmak hvor også mersmaken er tydelig til stede. Farlige greier. Servert fra fat.
