Flat, clear golden color. Aroma is slightly dry concentrated fruity, ripe apples, hay, minerals, grass, apple cores, flowers, dried apples, alcohol. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple cores, sour apples, hay, grass, minerals, flowers, apple peel, alcohol. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel, no carbonation. Fair enough.

YG 080921. Pale golden color with some white bubbles. Aroma is apples, yeast, sulphur. Flavor is apples, yeast, sulphur, alcohol, grass. OK cider.

Bottle, 50cl. Label says 75cl. Vintage 2018. It's dark straw to pale golden in color, almost entirely clear, with lots of carbonation leaving a thin layer of white bubbles. The aroma is lightly alcoholic, with a hint of funk and sulphur, but mostly it's ripe apples, feeling like it's not all apples meant for eating. It's quite effervescent, rather hefty carbonation actually, a bit warming, full-bodied and with a little astringency. Ripe apple, some apple core bitterness and bark notes, grass, alcohol and a faint touch of whitecurrant or gooseberry in the flavor. Lasting dry finish with ripe apple, some berries, grass and alcohol. A bit harsh this one, and judging from previous ratings it might have been better when fresher. And hopefully less carbonated. 210908
