YGG 150721. Golden-orange color with some white bubbles. Aroma is apples, yeast. Flavor is apples, yeast, lemon, grass.funk, plums. OK cider.

0,75 flaske fra VP nettbutikken, delt med Einar, Synne og Kitty: lett uklar gylden. Småsur og tynn smak av plommer og umodne epler. En gedigen skuffelse.

Nice fizzy-creamy shortlasting head, hazy orangy color. Aroma is slightly dry funky fruity, apple cores, minerals, bark, yeast, overripe dusty apples, cellar, alcohol, soil, apple peel, moldy fruits. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, apple peel, hay, minerals, sorrel, sour apples, paper, apple cores, flowers, leafs, dusty fruits. Medium bitterness, slightly dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Kind of boring.

Bottle, 75cl. A hazy orange-golden colored cider with some white bubbles. The aroma is lightly funky, leather, barnyard and a faint lemony hint. Apple, hints of apple vinegar, some grass and yeast. It's medium to full-bodied, tannin-ish, with a soft carbonation, some astringency and a good sourness. Apple, funk, lemon hints, some yeast and grass in the flavor. Long finish. A bit unbalanced, with too little apple both in aroma and flavor. 210715
