Black iwth a brown head - Dark malt and chocolate aroma with some coffee notes - Malt body with chocolate and coffee flavours with bitterness - Chocolate and coffee flavours goes into the finish with bitterness - This was good

Can @ home. Dark amber, close to black body under a really nice, dense beige head. Aroma has dark, roasted malt, coffee and some warming alcohol. Taste is sweet, smooth, roasted dark malt, good coffee, chocolate, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Fine body with long lasting aftertaste. Nice and a really good match with dark chocolate.

Sjøen 091223. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, grapefruit, chocolate. Nice beer.

Can. A black one, topped by a dark beige to light tan head. Some lacing. The aroma has a nice coffee touch, along with roasted malts, dark chocolate and a hint of herbs. Alcohol and booze. It's full bodied, warming and smooth on the palate, with a gentle carbonation. Roasted malts, dark chocolate and a good dash of coffee in the flavor. Lasting finish. I'd prefer even more coffee aroma and flavor, but sure it's a nice brew. 231027
