Bottle, gusher... Cloudy dark amber, offwhite head. Caramely, mutty aroma, light tart edge. Malty, caramely flavour, some nutty notes, mild hoppy bitterness.

Bottle. A clear amber colored beer topped by a dense off-white head. Some lacing. Sweetish, malty aroma, bread, notes of dark rye bread, toffee hints and some dark dried fruits. Alcohol too. It's full bodied, sweet and lightly warming, almost sticky, with little bitterness. Decent carbonation. The flavor follows the same pattern as the aroma, only with slightly more focus on the dried fruits. Medium length sweet and sticky finish. Not my choice for BBQ, except maybe reduced to use as a glaze. But anyway, it's drinkable indeed, but far from convincing. 230803
