Bottle: Poured a deep black oil slick with a light brown. Aroma is nutty, hazelnut, lactose, coffee. Taste is coffee, vanilla, nutty, very balanced between the sweet and bitter.

Rating number 6,700. 500 ml bottle from brewery. Vintage 2021. Opaque brown black pour. Brief tan head. Sweet roasted malt aroma hints at coffee and vanilla. Flavor follows nose. Sweet roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and a hint of milk chocolate. Some nuttiness on the backend. Rich and satisfying.

Draught @ Cork City, Hoboken, NJ. Smooth, sweetish and slightly roasty with loads of coffee, some creamy milky notes, chocolate and cocoa. Okay.

From tap. Pours hazy brown, small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty, coffee. Bitter, dry, roasted, dark malty. Dry and coffee finish.

Bottle from a trade. Many thanks! Pours pitch black, brown foam. Nose is coffee with sugar and milk. Very sweet, roasty and milky (lactose). Taste is like drinking cold coffee with milk and sugar. Not really things I'm looking for in a beer. A well made beer for those who likes it but I couldn't finish my glass.

Boise Imperial Stout Tasting. Deep dark brown color with a thin brown cap. Nose is roasty, mildly sweet. Rich espresso in the nose and into the taste... A big ole milk stout/Porter. Sweet and roasty, a little ash. Great coffee flavor.

750ml bottle thanks to Steve. pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is big coffee forward roast malts and some chocolate. taste is more of the heavy coffee roast malts rich chocolate.
