12.10.2024, bottle sampled @ Patrick's Pub:
Flat, clear straw colored. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish boozy, floral honey, alcohol, yeast, minerals, nuts, flowers, grass, hints of citrus. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish floral, leafs, citrus, flowers, minerals, dusty honey, fruit stones, alcohol, bark. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and dry sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Fair enough, dangerously easy drinking.

Bottle @ Patricks. Clear golden body without carbonation or any head, slightly oily viscosity in body. Strong impression in aroma, still balanced with not too dominating honey scent, also slightly floral, a touch of toffee and warming alcohol. Taste has mild but distinct honey, a touch of toffee and also some kind of apple cider acidity. The balancing acidity seems almost to be the signature of Mythology meads basted on the one I have sampled so far. Fine body with long lasting, sweet aftertaste ending with a warming alcoholic feeling down the throat. Probably the best base mead I have tasted, still prefer some more complex mixed type of mead.

Bottle, at Patrick's. An oily pour reveals a dark golden colored body, clear, with a few bubbles on top. Quite alcoholic aroma, stinging in the nose almost like some brown spirits, although more gentle. Caramel hints, cellar, wood, flower notes and a vague honey touch. It's full bodied and warming, oily, with some sweetness. Honey and caramel notes, toffee, cellar, wood and alcohol. Lasting finish. A quite intense one, almost demanding to drink, but clean and tasteful. Sure need to try this one again later on. 230421
