Apple cider made from Discovery apples. Fermented with beer yeast - low controlled temperature.
Filtrated, storage low temperature (steel tanks), carbonation then added to bottle. Only a few bottles created in November/December 2021, larger and more monitored production in 2022.

Solsletta 021122. Straw color with some white bubbles. Aroma is apples, sugar, sulphur. Flavor is apples, sugar, sulphur, alcohol, ripe apples, fruit, grass. Nice cider.

Bottle, 35cl, from trade with Bryne. A clear straw-colored cider with some white bubbles. The aroma has a whiff of sulfur, along with a bit much alcohol. Dominated by ripe apple though, rather heavy, with some apple jam and a touch of generic fruityness and grass. Hints of yellow plum. It’s full-bodied and semi-dry on the palate, nicely carbonated and with a certain acidity kicking in after a few seconds. Apple driven flavor too, with a hint of peach, some apple jam and hay. Faintly funky too, with leather and barnyard notes. Long finish. Initially this felt rather dull, but after a few sips it turned out to be a really fine one. 221102

Reserveluka i luke 17, en 0,35 flaske fra produsenten delt med Kitty: klar gylden farge med fint rødskjær. Intens og kompleks eplearoma og -smak mede dybde og karakter. Sandalen er verdt å følge nøye, de har tydeligvis en intuisjon (og ferdigheter) som gir resultater. Lett perlende munnfølelse. Delikat fra første til siste dråpe, så mersmaken er nærmest påtrengende.
