Legacy No.7 is an Imperial Stout aged in French Whiskey, All Grain and Single Malt Gouden Carolus Whiskey from Molenberg stokerij barrels. The roasted base of the stout is enriched by the refined, smooth, and complex flavors from the different barrels. Enhanced by the caramel and toffee notes from the Gouden Carolus whiskey and the inherent sweetness of the stout. Orchard fruits and subtle spice from the French whiskey, combined with the grainy, earthy, and mild spice notes from the all grain and Gouden Carolus barrels. Oak and earthy tones from all barrels contribute to a well-rounded, deep flavor profile.Overall, you can expect a rich, bold, and complex beer with layers of chocolate and coffee, interwoven with caramel, orchard fruits, spices, and woody tones.

Can 330ml @ Hotel room - Åmål stadshotell Pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, alcohol, caramel, coconut and oak. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, chocolate, cinnamon, coconut and oak finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can from Kvickly Odder @ village Marco Polo. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, dark chocolate, spice, tonka. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, roast malt, coffee, dark chocolate, tonka, whisky. Medium body, average carbonation, light bitter mild spiced finish with some warming alcohol. 030824

Can, shared by Meilby. A black one, with a minimalistic beige head. The aroma has a spiced touch, cinnamon mostly, with alcohol, roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee. Licorice hints. It's full bodied and quite cheewy, warming and softly carbonated. Roasted malts, cocoa, cinnamon and some tonka, licorice and oak. It's sweet, but not too sweet, with a decent bitterness bringing a kind of balance. Lasting finish. A really delicious one, a bit alcoholic at first, but mellows quite a lot. 240720

Can on the Frontier Brush day ii, picked up from West End Drink Station, 09/06/24. Black with a khaki head that thins edgewards. Nose is dark malts, coconut shavings, chocolate, liquorice, mellow barrel. Taste comprises chocolate,.bourbon, spice, roast malts, molasses, coconut, brown sugar melt. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Solid.

ABV: 12.0%. Clear dark black colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, tonka, cocoa, whisky - bourbon, barrel. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, tonka, chocolate - coffee, cocoa, dark malt, oak - barrel, whisky - bourbon. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20240412]
