(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours milky pale yellow with a decent stable white head and good lace. Aroma is unusually floral and leafy, very interesting hop profile, guava, tangerine, lime leaves, slightly spicy herbs, tropical perfume, citrus bitters, lime and some lemon zest, very lightly dank. Flavour is quite dry overall, again lead by herbal and floral notes, dried perfumed flowers, lime peels, underripe peach, tangerine, grapefruit oil hits as well, white bread malt, slightly peppery herbal notes building in the middle to finish. Fairly light bodied, oily, moderate carbonation. A rather different style and hop bill to the usual from BdBC and it shows in a light, herbal and floral brew without much in the way of sweetness or juiciness at all. A fun switch-up.

Rated originally at the brewpub, on tap, on October 2020. Now, found a can I bought a bit later, and having it again. Hazy golden with a tad of amber hue. The head is white, frothy, long lasting and some mild creamy lace and ring is left. Lemon zest aromas with other citrus notes. The taste is fairly smooth, somewhat milder for the style, with the citrus that does add a little bite in the finish with some hoppy flavours. The mouthfeel shows a little tart, but really juicy and wet overall. A really easy-drinking DDH IPA.

Crowler: Poured a cloudy/hazy milky yellow color ale with a nice large white foamy head with some retention and lacing. Aroma of huge floral hops undertones with some citrusy notes and dry leafy notes also perceptible. Taste is also a mix of juicy notes with light residual sugar with dryer then expected finish with hops leaf notes. Body is full with good carbonation. Enjoyable but dryer the most other NEIPA from this brewery.
